Payment & Fees Information
Registration & Enrollment
A non-refundable deposit of a $50 initial registration fee and one week's tuition are due at signing for Full-Time care. This holds an open space for three weeks. After the three-week period, attendance must begin or the space and the deposit are forfeited. This deposit will cover the child's final week of enrollment. Other arrangements may be made for families that have an uncertain time frame such as those that are expecting, adopting or relocating to the area. These particulars are negotiated on an individual basis depending on the family needs and the child care’s ability to accommodates those needs.
Tuition for the first month or week (depending on payment option) is due on or before the first day of attendance. Families beginning care mid-month will pay the weekly rate until the first full month begins, then they may opt for the monthly plan..
All enrollment and medical forms must be completed and returned to Oak Valley Kids before attendance begins. Care cannot, under any circumstances, begin until all forms have been submitted.
Late Pick-Up Fees
If a child is still in the day care after the contracted hours, families will be charged $1.00 per minute per child until the children leave the day care. The time a late parent spends packing up is included in this billed time. Children may not return to the day care until this fee is paid in full. After 3 late pick-ups, care may be terminated.
With 48 hours notice, a later end time or an early start time can be extended at $7.00 per hour for one child and $3.00 per hour for each additional child.
Educator and Military Discounts
We offer a 10% discount on the youngest child of Military Personnel or $50.00 weekly discount for military families of 3 or more . The same discount is offered to educators who live and/or teach in Harford County. This applies to full time employees of public, private or parochial schools.
Payment Options
Payment may be made online, in cash, or by check or money order. Any returned checks incur a minimum $35.00 NSF fee (can and will be higher if I incur fees over the amount of $35.00).
